SO GOOD! This is a fantastic first song! Really it doesn't seem like you struggle at all with matching chiptune sounds together cohesively. Such a happy beat and tempo. <3 It would fit perfectly in an 8Bit game.

Thank you so much! I’m glad it came out well, I’d love to work on more music like this in the future.

LOVE THIS, the way the tune goes a bit odd-toned before snapping back to the melody like :59 is so ethereal. Really fits the vibe I feel like you're going for. Really good instrument and drum kit choices as well.

Also love that you're grabbing inspiration from Kirby Air Ride, that game slaps and so does its OST

I think this is my favorite of your tracks from The Cold Climb. I really love the melody, it certainly sounds triumphant. The violin addition really makes the song. <3

Really love your choice of instruments and the piano accompaniment in the back. This definitely does give me chilly, slightly lonely vibes. But those things often go together, and they do so well!

This is PERFECT game over music! I also like it as simply pause music. However you swing it though it's simple and sweet and exactly what it needs to be. I'm a fan of lighthearted and crisp game overs ever since playing 51 Tabletop Games for the switch.

I definitely understand the vibe you were going for with this. I love adventurous ambience! And mushroom biomes. I really like the transition from your midsection to the end at 3:21

I followed you and luckily realized that these were a series of songs. This one is definitely my new favorite! I absolutely adore the melody and ambience in this one. You really did great on making low-bit sounds kind of glide across each other.

Thanks for the follow!

I really like the change of tempo at the end. It went from a lo-fi song to a jazzy 'Egg Quarters' type of beat and sounded fantastic as both. Awesome <3

I love this! Something about your melody and percussion makes me think of royalty, like a character is first entering a kingdom. So colorful!

trevor8 responds:

thanks! had not really though of it in such light, but i can definitely see this!

This is AWESOME! Reminds me very much of some music from the game Skullgirls, but that's just because it's properly jazzy. I appreciate the focus on piano, it's my favorite jazz instrument, so vibrant and lighthearted.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

That is just awesome! Thank you, buddy, I am glad you enjoyed this loop! :)

Live well and let music guide you
