AWW MAN I LOVE THIS, this is such a style I can get behind lately! Modern drum and bass coupled with the chiptune works just makes me happy to hear. So upbeat and vibrant. And you made the entrance at 0:24 flawless.

JohnMontoya responds:

WOW! Thank you so much for saying that! I really hope my next songs are up to par with this one! Maybe I should start releasing a new song every Saturday? That'd be a fun challenge! Maybe I should put this on Spotify as well? The possibilities are endless!

Man this is SNAZZY. This is making me imagine an old commodore point and click game. Makes me think urban underbelly, detective interactions, etc. Very nice

I love this! Such a catchy tune that is comprised of so many different sounds! I really like your choice of instruments. And your tags are right, listening to this just makes me feel happy.

0:33-45 is an awesome section.

I feel you on the music making. This is the longest stretch of free time I've had in forever, for better or for worse. I really like this!! It's rainstorming outside right now, too, so I think I have the perfect atmosphere for listening.

Your choice in percussion is great, I think it made the whole song come together so well. Makes me think of Stardew Valley if you've ever played it.

Felocai responds:

Well it's supposed to be a bit of a rain mood song, but in a good way, because i actually like when it rains in summer, so I'm happy that you had the proper mood set.
I'm also happy i managed to encapsulate that feeling in these four minutes.
Thanks for the comment!

Made me think of a funky 8-Bit graveyard at first. This is rad!

This track would be absolutely fantastic in a fantasy movie! Or an RPG for that matter. I love your use of wind and strings. I think they worked so great into this song, especially from 0:42-0:56. Really stunning work man.

This is awesome. What a good mix of sounds and none of them drown each other out. I honestly checked out the game just because I knew it had to be good to go with a song like this, and I was right. Melt is rad. Nice job on the score for it!

ConnorGrail responds:

Glad you like the song, and double glad you had fun with the game as a result!

This is awesome! When all the instruments came together at 2:35 I got goosebumps. I think perhaps the song takes a bit too long to get to the intense parts (2:15 and on when it's coming to a close) but honestly that's just personal preference. I see the merit to having an extended intro like you do and it works just fine. Anyway I loved listening! Good job

TrandafirTeodora responds:

Thank you so much!

I absolutely love the whole mid-section to this song! The rest is great, but the melody and chord progression during 1:03-1:30 was, I think, the best part of the song. Awesome. Percussion was rad the whole way through as well. Sounds very good with the instruments you chose

AKJanklin responds:

Glad you enjoyed! I do agree that the middle is the best part, I think the leads on the two ends could be less "intrusive," but I never could get a satisfactory substitute, thus why I still have them.

Live well and let music guide you
