This is the first submission for Pixel Day I've heard that is almost totally centered around the percussion. I think it's awesome! The ambient melody in the back really makes each noise so vibrant.

Quarl responds:

lol, I've been keying that melody for months now. Felt good to get it recorded into a track :D

I really loved the sound of every instrument coming together at 0:27. <3 The ambient droning noise in the back gives this song such depth as well. Awesome for something you created so quickly!

larrynachos responds:

Thank you so much! I wanted to do way more, but my computer is nearly kill ;-;

Thanks again for listening and reviewing :)

SO GOOD! This is a fantastic first song! Really it doesn't seem like you struggle at all with matching chiptune sounds together cohesively. Such a happy beat and tempo. <3 It would fit perfectly in an 8Bit game.

hammslamm responds:

Thank you so much! I’m glad it came out well, I’d love to work on more music like this in the future.

I followed you and luckily realized that these were a series of songs. This one is definitely my new favorite! I absolutely adore the melody and ambience in this one. You really did great on making low-bit sounds kind of glide across each other.

MusicbyFlups responds:

Thanks for the follow!

I love this! Something about your melody and percussion makes me think of royalty, like a character is first entering a kingdom. So colorful!

trevor8 responds:

thanks! had not really though of it in such light, but i can definitely see this!

This is AWESOME! Reminds me very much of some music from the game Skullgirls, but that's just because it's properly jazzy. I appreciate the focus on piano, it's my favorite jazz instrument, so vibrant and lighthearted.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

That is just awesome! Thank you, buddy, I am glad you enjoyed this loop! :)

Wow this is fantastic. I got instant goosebumps from that intro. Generation 5 music has always been strong in my heart, it was one of the soundtracks that got me into creating VGM and this is a great jazzy interpretation of Undella.

I just finished replaying Black after not having played it since around release. Found myself rediscovering both just how great it was but also just how great the music was. This song was the one that hit me particularly hard. Don't know how I missed it the first time, but glad I'm not alone in this appreciation haha.

Glad you liked this!

I love this! I definitely get a dark western vibe from it. The opening and first addition of the violin sounds awesome, you really made the dual acoustic guitars work together.

Belthagor responds:

I'm glad you like it. That was actually a saxophone, not violin. Idk if my mixing is good or not if it sounds like a violin. X.X

The instruments I used are as follows: Guitar, sax, harmonica, marimba. I can send you the file if you'd like.

This is awesome! I love your intro/drop at 0:49, it gave me goosebumps. I love all of the percussion choice as well, so happy and carefree the whole way through. Really great piece of music for this genre!

God I love the sound of rapid hi-hat, so serene and badass at the same time. You used your percussion GREAT in this song I think. It all sounds so cohesive. I could definitely see this in a video game.

Live well and let music guide you
