After experimenting with chiptune stuff I know how hard it is to make a track where the 8Bit instruments and sounds seem distinct from one another, but I think you accomplished that and made it sound rad

LexRodent responds:

Thanks a lot mate.
I get what you mean ; Using different vsts and a bit of modulation helps a lot.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Man I love reverb piano no matter what I think. I love how you made it the center of attention for this song! Sounds like something from VVVVVV or another fast paced platformer. Really cool.

Oh-Sama responds:

I am glad you like my cheap art, I am a fake artist haha :^D

This song is awesome! I feel like it would fit right into a spooky platformer level.

DrakeXtor responds:

that was exactly what i was going for! thank you so much!

DAMN you may not have spent long on it but I love it! So jazzy and fucking lively haha. Wish I could give some constructive feedback but I just enjoyed listening to it.

AKJanklin responds:

Indeed it was inspired by jazz chord progressions, namely a bunch of 2-5-1s. Thanks for enjoying!

I love the ambient/wind sound during the moments like 0:22-0:35. Reminds me of an old CD-rom game. This sounds really unique I like it!

Bubble-Tea responds:

That line is the the yellow line in the Beepbox link, i never thought of it being wind, but thanks! :D

This is sick! I'm a sucker for strings and vocals too, so the beginning got me hooked. Good luck with your work during the coming decade dude.

AeronMusic responds:

Thanks a lot! Gonna try my best. Some different tunes/styles coming your way as well. ^^

Live well and let music guide you
